    Shuhei Kamiya has received the Architectural Institute of Japan Selected Architectural Designs Newcomer Award 2022 for the “HAYAMA KACHI TEI.” We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our clients, partners, and all those who support our daily operations.     “Receiving the Newcomer Award from the Architectural Institute of Japan marks a moment when being a ‘newcomer’ can no longer serve as an excuse. From here on, I hope to pursue architectural design that is grounded in advanced technical expertise, informed by a broader and more multifaceted perspective, and driven by a spirit of challenge. I also aspire to nurture talent within our firm who will go on to receive awards like this.”

    Established in Germany in 1953, the iF DESIGN AWARD is a prestigious international design award that recognizes products and projects across a wide range of fields worldwide. It is regarded as one of the world’s three major design awards, alongside Germany’s Red Dot Award and the United States’ International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA).

  • Magazine SHOTENKENCHIKU / 雑誌掲載 商店建築

    In Commercial Space Lighting Vol. 6 (a December 2021 special issue of SHOTENKENCHIKU, released November 5, 2021), the “HAYAMA KACHI TEI,” a project we handled the renovation design for, was featured over eight pages. The article centers on the lighting design and includes an interview with our collaborators Mr. Sugio (SUGIO LIGHTING DESIGN) and Mr. Himeno (DAIKO).We hope you’ll take a look.
