The terrace of the HAYAMA KACHI TEI was featured on the cover of Discover Japan’s October 2020 issue. This space was one of the areas where KAMIYA ARCHITECTS devoted particular attention in the project. The concept of carrying forward the design rhythms of the Prairie Style into a contemporary context was realized within Hayama’s naturally rich environment. At the “Cultivating the Senses” event held at the share office ＋OURS in Marunouchi, Shuhei Kamiya delivered a lecture on “Architecture, Design, and Culture in Denmark.” He discussed Danish architects’ design approaches as well as the public’s awareness and appreciation of design.

丸の内のシェアオフィス＋OURS で行われた「五感を育む会」にて、神谷修平が「デンマークの建築・デザイン・文化」をテーマに講演を実施。建築家のデザイン手法や国民のデザイン意識について語りました。

At an information session for the Emerging Artists Overseas Training Program held at the Agency for Cultural Affairs in Kasumigaseki, Tokyo, Shuhei Kamiya took the stage as a program alumnus and presented his firsthand experiences and outcomes from the training.

東京都霞ヶ関の文化庁にて開催された新進芸術家海外研修制度説明会において、神谷修平が修了生として登壇し、研修での実体験および成果について発表しました。

At the “World FSC Forest Certification Festival” held in Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, Shuhei Kamiya took part in a stage talk. Together with Nobuyoshi Mizutani, Secretary-General of More Trees, he discussed TSUMIKI, a product made in Morotsuka Village.

As part of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Denmark, an exhibition and workshop of TSUMIKI by Shuhei Kamiya were held at A. PETERSEN GALLERY in Copenhagen, Denmark.
